The scope of work in this project entailed the construction of an internal sewer reticulation network system for Rooikoppen housing development. This included the servicing 3260 sites.

The proposed works for the bulk infrastructure will consists of the following:

• Excavation and laying of
• 32,1km of 110Ømm uPVC HD pipes.
• 8,5km of 160Ømm uPVC HD pipes.
• 1,3km of 200Ømm uPVC HD pipes.
• Construction of 905 precast and brick manholes.
• Connection in existing live manholes
• Two and four legged ERF connections
• Ducting and appurtenant works
• Construction of 180m long 200Ømm Pipe Bridge across the Vaal River.
• Construction of Pump Station, rising main and appurtenant works.
