The City of Mbombela has commissioned Nathoo Mbenyane Engineers to enhance the Rocky’s Drift Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW). This improvement project is designed to support the expansion of bulk waterborne sanitation services to the Msholozi area, which is currently undergoing formal town planning procedures. Additionally, it will accommodate upcoming residential and industrial developments in and around Rocky’s Drift, contributing to the sewage flow managed by the upgraded WWTW. The project’s scope includes increasing the plant’s capacity, constructing the Inlet Works, refurbishing the existing inlet works, and erecting a new administration and guard house building.
